Life is busy and we tend to get caught up in the bustle and forget to take a step back to consider ourselves and our own well-being. Slow down, learn to be present, and get skills that can impact your life as a whole. Engage in weekly mindful meditation, Tuesday evenings 6pm-7pm at The Collective Offices in Bowmanville.
Classes are balanced between psycho-education, mindful and mindful-meditation practice. Get the additional benefit of having Kameela Osman, M.S.W., R.S.W (Clinical Social Worker/Psychotherapist) as the facilitator. Kameela often integrates mindfulness in her approach to psychotherapy with clients. Get her guidance throughout in class practice, debriefing your personal practice, and for all your mindfulness questions.
Each class reviews the concept of mindfulness, builds on the last, as well as, has a topic of the day. Attend all or one, tickets sold separately. $22/Class
Note exercises are broken into 10-15 minute increments to allow growth in practice.
