Dr. John Gottman has honed in on what makes and breaks a marriage. Learn tools and strategies from his years of research in The Seven Principles for Making Marriage Work Workshop. The content is by the Gottman Institute and adapted as per training by Kameela Osman, MSW, RSW.
The workshop presents proven tools to help couples:

Enhance romance & intimacy
Manage conflict constructively

Appropriate for:
- couples in various stages of life
- the pre-engaged to the premarital
- the newlyweds to those married for decades.
- Those wishing to enhance their marriage, reconnect, & reinvigorate it
- Those who are struggling, seeking better conflict management strategies and tools
Not appropriate for those in relationships with:
- Severe distress
- Intimate partner violence
- Active addictions (alcohol, drug, sexual, gambling, etc.)
- Serious mental health problems in one or both partners.
Additionally: This workshop is open to Ontario (Canada) residents, 18+ only.
Fee: $185 (HST included)
As a psychoeducational, non-therapeutic group this group is not HST exempt. It may not be covered by extended health benefits even if there is social work coverage, check with your insurance provider.
Leader: Kameela Osman, M.S.W., R.S.W. is a social worker / psychotherapist, and is the founder of Elite Counselling & Consulting Services. An experienced group facilitator, coordinator, therapist and clinical supervisor. Clinical experience includes working with individuals, couples, families, and mandated clients (both adults and youth). She uses training in various modalities of counselling to take an integrated approach to therapy. She’s skilled at working with clients on issues such as anxiety, depression, anger, self-esteem, assertiveness, sexuality, bullying, parenting, domestic violence, and relationship issues.
The workshop is psycho-educational
You can attend with your partner or without, however fee is for the registration. The workshop includes lecture, content, and private couple exercises. Attendees can reflect on content on their own and will not be sharing/processing individual relationship struggles with the attending group.
